Jen Evans and I have been friends for a long time. So when I heard that she was getting married, I was overjoyed. I planned far in advance to be able to get off work for her wedding luncheon and reception. Last Friday I left work at 12:30 (shocking, I know) and drove to Bountiful to Jen's wedding luncheon. It was nice to see her so happy. She and Dan are so in love. At the wedding luncheon I witnessed my first ring ceremony. Jen and Dan said some really moving words that had most of the group in tears. After an hour and a half, I left and went shopping. I met Mom at home and we took Isaac to Jen's reception in Syracuse. Dad met us there. The reception was held in an old Victorian home that was very nice. Jen looked lovely and it was nice to see her parents again. Enjoy the pictures and, once again, congratulations Jen and Dan!

jessica johnsen, old friend! rayanne emailed me w/ your blog address & i was so excited to be able to get a peek into your life. looks like you're doing well & looking lovely, as usual. ben & i are living in north carolina & are managers of a group home for troubled youth. it's a pretty crazy & intense job, but we're loving it. we were actually in town during jen's reception & i was fully planning on attending. then the vomit bug hit & i had to stay home & sleep on my mom's bathroom floor. ugh. anyway, so glad you posted pictures! she looks beautiful & very happy. here is our blog address, in case your interested to read some of our hilarious stories. please keep in touch! love, lynsey (steadman) strader
