This is my foot, a few days after the sprain. Along with ice and heat, I have kept it in a bandage as much as possible. The brown/purple that you see is bruising. It is along the bottom of my foot and across my toes. Gross but true. This picture was taken by my roomate. Right now I have only a slight limp.Search This Blog

Sprained ankle and Friday night
On Thursday, a bunch of people went to a place called Power Tumbling in Provo. It is a place where gymnasts can practice. It is full of trampolines, bouncy runways, and large foam pits. We placed around, and in the end, we broke into teams to participate in an obstacle course. Just as we were going to begin, I jumped on the edge of a trampoline wrong. Yes, dear readers, I sprained my ankle. It hurt like the dickens. I got light-headed. I limped off and sat down to watch everyone else have fun. When I got home I took some pain medication and put ice on. After a break, I then used a heating pad. I didn't sleep well that night because my ankle kept throbbing. I was awakened by Camille on Friday. She wanted me to take her the doctor's office. I limped there and then stopped by Target on our way back to pick up an ankle wrap. Luckily, the Internet showed me how to wrap an ankle. It took me forever to shower and get ready for my Friday night. Limping along, I drove up to Salt Lake. Ryan and I ended up at Mikey's house. A group of us spent the night watching clips on Youtube. We were watching the openings of old shows like Today's Special, Gummie Bears, Transformers, GI Joe, and other shows. It was a lot of fun and I got to spend time with my foot up on a table/pillow. I didn't get home until 1:30 am.
