Craft time
Every once and a while, I feel the need to create something to brighten my world. For Christmas, my sister gave me a necklace that she bought at a boutique. It was a necklace pendant made out of a scrabble tile. After studying it, I figured that I might be able to duplicate it. Using glue, origami paper, and Mod Podge I managed to cover the tiles. It took me three tries to figure out what adhesive to use to attach a metal ring it the back of the scrabble tile. If anyone wants one, let me know. Here are pictures of my first necklace and my work station:

Ooooh! I love it! So, what glue works for the metal?
Ooooh, I want one!
If I had an interesting initial like J worth 8 points, I too might like a scrabble tile necklace. Alas, S is only 1 point and the easiest letter to use in Scrabble, so I think I'll pass out of humiliation.
I want one, I have a silver chain, so just the charm, please!
I ended up using Gorilla Super Glue that I bought at Home Depot. It dries clear and is pretty strong. It helped that I filed the wood a little since it has a clear coat on it.
I'd love one too! Glad I could help with the creativity bug.
