Snow in the mountains
On my arrival to work last week, I took a moment to look around. I noticed that there was snow on the mountains to the northeast of my building. I love nature, even though I don't often get the chance to go up into the mountains. It was so lovely that I probably spent five full minutes enjoying the view before I went into my office building.

I remember when we took Wade to the MTC. He stopped right in his tracks looking at the incredible view. He wanted a picture of himself with the view in the background. It is quite spectacular.
Those are some of my favorite mountains. I miss having the chance to just look at them. The mountains by our apartment, though currently very colorful, aren't all that pretty.
I know what you mean about stopping to just gaze at things. I have done that when seeing an absolutely beautiful sunrise while walking into work.
