Perhaps a new car...

I had another car appointment today because my air conditioning stopped working. Since January I have spent about $500 on repairs for the car. Since the car I drive is a 1993, I think it's about time for me to buy a new car. Based on safety records, fuel efficiency, and reliability, I have narrowed the field. I am thinking of buying a Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, or a Toyota Corolla. I am planning to buy a 2005, 2006, or 2007 model. Does anyone have an opinion?

I, personally, think that the Camry is overpriced. The other two seem about the same to me, although I like the looks of the Accord a little more. It just so happens that my SIL is selling her 2005 Corolla. Let me know if you're interested. :)

Britnie's dad really likes Toyota Camry's, and he owns a auto shop. Ours now has over 200,000 miles on it and is running pretty great for how old it is.

Camry is usually the cheapest of the 3. I drove a 2003 on my mission and it wasn't bad.

I'll pass along my opinion, although all should be good cars in terms of reliability. We've loved our Honda (Civic), it gets great gas mileage and rarely needs repairs. Toyotas are supposed to have great reliability as well. The Camry and Accord are bigger cars, so won't get as good of gas mileage as the Corolla. My friend has a Corolla which she loves, and says gets great gas mileage. All would probably be great cars though.

I would suggest that you call your insurance carrier and ask which is the most expensive to insure. A few years ago the Camry was the most stolen car in the US so it was expensive to insure.

If price is a factor, a corolla will get you a good car for less money.

If you are lucky, you might be able to find a corolla that runs on Natural Gas.
