That is great. My favorite quote in French has a similar theme. It says, "J'ai reinvetente le passe pour voir la beaute de l'avenir." It translates as something like, "I reinvented the past in order to see the beauty of the future." I love it.
Gabe seems like he would have all kinds of random info. and quotations up his sleeve... :)
